We are a Tokyo-based Platform as a Service (PaaS) firm specializing in image/video footages indexing and search thanks to machine learning. We work with institutions and corporations in a variety of industries and verticals who are looking for automated indexing of video footages. In order to answer to customers’ demand and to progress on our product roadmap, we are looking to expand our team with 2 engineers.


Job Overview:

The ideal candidate for the Computer Vision Engineer position is ready to bring their skills to a driven startup team. The Computer Vision Engineer will research, develop, maintain, and build highly scalable CV/ML technologies that can analyze images and videos.


Required Skills:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or 3+ years of industry and/or research experience in relevant field
  • Concentration(s) in: Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Image Processing, and/or Computer Graphics
  • Excellent skills developing in C/C++ and Python
  • Experience with OpenCV, Numpy, SciPy, Sklearn, etc.
  • The ability to communicate technical information clearly and succinctly to both technical and non-technical teams
  • Familiarity with GIT/Bitbucket

 

Highly Desirable:

  • Strong skills developing in MATLAB
  • Expertise in image classification, segmentation, and feature extraction
  • Strong understanding of linear algebra, optimization, probability and statistics
  • Experience with software architecture and/or API design, complemented by robust integration skills
  • Experience with Vision applications
  • English is a must, French is a plus

Compensation:

Commensurate to market and experience.

 

This is a full-time paid position commensurate with experience including salary and benefits.  Candidates will need to be available to work on site in our office in Tokyo, or optionally in Sophia-Antipolis (France) and New-York offices. Candidates must qualify to respective visa.

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Unity3D developer to lead the Xloudia interface development process for our European customers.

We are going through an exciting stage of growth here at Xloudia, and as our technology continues to expand its user base in Europe and across the world we need someone who is passionate about helping us designing the best user interface and push the boundaries of mobile image recognition and mobile commerce.
In liaise with the engineering team and the business development team, the designer will continue the path of simple design of Xloudia applications and will explore new directions. 

The candidate will develop Unity3D projects for Xloudia clients and partners and for Xloudia internal proves of concepts.

The candidate may occasionally manage interns.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate from an engineering school with interest in Design or Design school with technical capabilities.
  • Proven record in Unity3D development (Gaming, etc…).
  • Strong interest in mobile commerce user experience
  • Proficiency in C#
  • Basic knowledge of native languages (Objective C, Android, Windows Mobile)
  • English is mandatory, French is a plus

We are looking for an amazing senior (server side) big data engineer to lead the development of Xloudia global system architecture.

We are going through an exciting stage of growth here at Xloudia, and as our technology continues to expand its user base across the world we need someone who is passionate about helping us scale up our technology suite and push the boundaries of mobile image recognition.

In this senior role you will work alongside our global Head of Servers and CTO to define, develop and manage the key server-side areas of our augmented reality mobile app. You will be involved in all aspects of the technology, from analytics to scalability, and help us develop a more efficient global API for Xloudia


REQUIREMENTS

We need an experienced big data engineer who understands the complexities of developing large, cloud-based mobile and SaaS applications. You will confidently shape the development of our global platform while managing a growing team. Your knowledge and experience will be vast and cover areas including but not limited to:

  • High-scalability, high-performance big data architecture (Amazon AWS, EC2, RDS, SQS...)
  • Construction of web applications in JEE (JSF, EJB, Hibernate, Glassfish...)
  • Python servers (Django, Celery...)
  • Linux-based server administration (Ubuntu)
  • MySQL databases
  • Mobile app statistics and data infrastructure
  • Collective intelligence/machine Learning
